Book Purses

Katie Did Create
I love purses and it's no secret....I have a ton!  When I found out my friend, Katie, finally put her purses on Etsy, I was overjoyed. Why you ask? She makes book purses and has been for years and way before Kate Spade, I might add. I've had my eye on these for a long time, including some of her other really fabulous homemade purses.

She can also convert one of your favorite books into a book purse  I am thinking about getting my own Pride and Prejudice book purse made! How fun would that be?

Katie will work with you too.  You can pick out different beaded handles, the lining, and any embellishments you want, like flowers or initials.  She also notes that the books were purchased from second hand shops, which I think is pretty cool!

Plus, I think book purses are going to become even more popular this spring. One of my favorite actresses, Natalie Portman, just stepped out at the Black Swan premiere with a Lolita book purse. Love it!

Bookworms - if this interests you, please go check out her Etsy page and message Katie.

Her Etsy page is called Katie Did Create

Have a great weekend,
