Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally
Pub. Date: December 1, 2011
Goodreads says, "What girl doesn't want to be surrounded by gorgeous jocks day in and day out? Jordan Woods isn't just surrounded by hot guys, though-she leads them as the captain and quarterback of her high school football team. They all see her as one of the guys, and that's just fine. As long as she gets her athletic scholarship to a powerhouse university. But now there's a new guy in town who threatens her starting position... suddenly she's hoping he'll see her as more than just a teammate."
*A lot of people might not know this about me, but I LOVE football. I love everything about it, so as soon as I came across this book, I knew I had to get my hands on a copy. Plus, I don't think I've read anything like this before. Let me know what you think!
I think this sounds really good. I am not a football fan but last year I read Dairy Queen by Catherine Gilbert Murdock (and its sequels) which gave me a real appreciation for the sport. This one reminds me a little of Dairy Queen, which I loved, so I will definitely add it to my TBR list. Fantastic pick!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE football as well! :) If you want to read this, you should try The Dairy Queen as well by Catherine Gilbert Murdock :) It has football!
ReplyDeleteI am so very excited for this one too! I really like football and it sounds like it will be a cute read!
ReplyDeleteI really want to read this one. I can't say I'm a fan of football (people don't play that sport here) but I have watched a coupe of games and liked it!
