Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Romances

This week Top Ten Tuesday is focusing on our favorite literary romances in honor of Valentine's Day.  Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!  Here are my favorites:

1.  Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth from Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen- Mr. Darcy.....need I say more?



2.  Rose and Dimitri from Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead- I adore this series and one of the main reasons why is Rose and Dimitri's relationship. 


3.  Belly and Conrad from Summer series by Jenny Han- *Sigh* One of my favorites series ever

4.  Hazel and Augustus from The Fault in Our Stars by John Green- I adored everything about this couple, especially their witty banter.

5.  Anna and St. Clair from Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins- *Swoon* That is all.

6.  Anne and Gilbert from Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery- One of my favorite literary relationships. I adored these two since I first read this series as a child.
7.  Romeo and Juliet from Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare- It's almost Valentine's Day. How could I not include this tragic couple?

8.  Macy and Wes from The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen- My favorite of Dessen's couples

9.  Jay and Violet from The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting- Jay is one of my favorites!
10.  Scarlett and Rhett from Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell- Oh, the drama between these two....gotta love it.

    Dimitri and Rose! *cries* I also love Anna and St Clair. Who else? Erm, Kaylee and Todd from the Soul Screamers series because I have wanted them together since the first book. And Kat and Daemon from the Lux series!

    Ooooo you have some epic couples listed up there Christina! I'm of course with you on Elizabeth and Darcy, Rose and Dimitri, Jay and Violet and Anna and Etienne. The others I have yet to read but have no doubt I would agree with you on:) Have you read the deleted scene from Anna and the French Kiss that Stephanie posted recently? SO GOOD:) I love them.

    I keep seeing Anna on people's lists. Man I need to read it. I think I'm secretly afraid it will make me want to travel. Something I can't really do right now.
