Happy Friday! Sometimes I like to talk about what I am currently into that is not necessarily book related. Here's what I have been up to/thinking about/enjoying lately. Let me know what you think!
1. Outlander - Guys, the TV show comes back on this weekend. FINALLY! I thought it would never get here. Is it me or do all the good shows come back on this month? Do they not get it that we need TV shows in the dead of winter? I feel like that is when all the shows go on hiatus. Anyway, I am super pumped, but verrrry nervous about how the second half of the novel will play out. Anyone else looking forward to this show? Also, have you taken the Highlander quiz? I got Jamie. *Swoon*
2. Clarisonic Mia - I treated myself to this for my birthday and I have to say I love it. The hype is real. It works VERY well. I have never had such smooth skin in my life. Highly recommended. Anyone else a fan?
3. Mortal Instruments TV Show - Did you guys hear this show is going to be on ABC Family? I am happy with this, because I think the books will translate to a TV show much better. The recent movie was less than stellar, mostly because I sort of hated the casting for Jace. I hope they get the casting right for this TV show. Either way, I'll definitely be tuning in. What do you guys think?
4. Bloodline - I was really lukewarm about this show in the beginning, but now I am definitely intrigued. I absolutely adore the setting of the Florida Keys and I love Eric Chandler (Coach Taylor forever!). I am about 75% through season one and plan on continuing. Has anyone else been watching this show on Netflix?
5. Happy Easter! - If you celebrate the Easter holiday, have a great time with family and friends.

Enjoy your weekend,
I finished Bloodline last night and (I know I already told you!) I LOVED it. New fave show. I thought the guy who played Danny (Ben Mendelsohn) was excellent. Great acting from him. I'm not sure how season 2 will play out. I also want to add that I just couldn't get my head around the fact that Meg was cheating on Marco. Guy is kinda perfect in every way!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried the Clarisonic Mia but I tried a Clinique version of it and it didn't work out for me - i.e. breakouts! Maybe the Mia would be better - or maybe these things are just not suited to my ultra sensitive skin. I'm not sure.
Happy Easter! :)
I loved Ben Medelsohn....fantastic! He did a great job -- brilliant, actually. I am not sure how season two will play out either. I was SHOCKED by Eric Chandler and what went down. I wonder if season two will be as good?!? I don't get Meg --- she's nuts! I am not a fan of her and her really short skirts either. haha.
DeleteI'm sorry it didn't work out for you. I can't believe it made you break out. Maybe it was too rough? I only use mine every other day b/c of my sensitive skin issues and use a really gently cleanser. So far I am happy with it!
I hope you have a great Easter too, Leanna!
Oh, my gosh, Christina! We both have Bloodline on our Friday Five lists - so cool! I've just started watching it, but I'm definitely going to stick with it; I, too, love the setting and the story behind the family. I've had a Clarisonic for several years and it is WONDERFUL! I have very few breakouts and my skin texture seems to have improved drastically; I'm never giving it up! I'm so glad you're enjoying yours and that you treated yourself for your birthday! Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteThings really pick up with Bloodline...some crazy events happen especially towards the end. The acting is fantastic. I hope you enjoy it!
DeleteI'm glad you love your Clarisonic. I am new to it, but so far very, very impressed. Have a great weekend and Easter! Thanks for visiting!
