Happy Friday! Sometimes I like to talk about what I am currently into that is not necessarily book related. Here's what I have been up to/thinking about/enjoying lately. Let me know what you think!

2. Belgravia by Julian Fellowes - As you guys know, I am part of this progressive blog tour. I will be sharing my thoughts on "episode" nine of the novel this June. The tour has already started and you can read Belgravia as a serialized novel, which I think is so much fun! So far I am really enjoying it and it's filling the void that Downton Abbey left.
3. Newborn Snuggles - My reading has taken a hit, because I am now taking care of a newborn and a three year old....cue all the craziness! If you missed it, I had a baby boy in April. Despite all the craziness, I have been really enjoying all the newborn snuggling. This phase goes by too fast, so I am trying to soak it all in even if I am trapped on the sofa!

Cannot wait for the new season of Bloodline!
ReplyDeleteMe too, Leanna! I am definitely looking forward to it.
DeleteLike the sound of Bloodline. I have this incurable desire to see the Keys so since I can't afford the trip, seeing it on the tube will do for now.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, Christina. And I hope you're getting plenty of sleep. :)
I think you'd like the show, Joy! Have a great weekend as well!
DeleteI need that peaches and cream trifle in my life immediately Christina! DELICIOUS:) It just screams summer. I also need to check out Bloodline, I hadn't heard of it until now but it sounds like something I would really enjoy. And I've been craving TV over reading lately, so I'm always looking for new shows to binge watch!
ReplyDeleteI know, right?! I am all about that. I think you'd like the show, Jenny. If you watch, let me know your thoughts. Thanks for visiting.
DeleteCongrats on the baby boy!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! :)
DeleteSuch an interesting thing they are doing with Belgravia! It sounds like a wonderful story---and Downton definitely left a void!! That peach trifle looks amazing, I think I might have to put it on my to-bake list this summer, too!
ReplyDeleteI know...I love the idea of a serialized novel...so fun! I love all things peach, so I'm glad you feel the same way, Becky. Thanks for visiting!
DeleteI have the first episode of Belgravia to read and I hope to get to it soon. I am also planning to watch his new miniseries on Amazon Prime (Dr. Thorne). Maybe it will fill some of that Downton Abbey void!
ReplyDeleteI will have to check out that dessert. It looks delicious! Enjoy your time with your new baby and congratulations again :)
Let me know your thoughts on Belgravia. I think you'll enjoy it, Christina. I will have to check out Dr. Thorne. I have Amazon Prime, so I will see if I can watch it this week. Thanks so much for the kind thoughts. Have a great weekend!
