Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite 2016 Releases

We are halfway through 2016 (how did that happen!?!) and this Top Ten Tuesday, we are sharing our favorite 2016 releases that we've read so far. There's a good mix here of adult fiction, YA fiction, and even a middle grade novel. I linked my reviews to the titles if you want to check out my thoughts.

1.  A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

2.  Belgravia by Julian Fellowes

3.  The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson

4.  When We Collided by Emery Lord

5.  Summer of Sloane by Erin L. Schneider

6.  Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys

7.  America's First Daughter by Stephanie Dray and Laura Kamoie

8.  The Season of You and Me by Robin Constantine

9.  The Remarkable Journey of Charlie Price by Jennifer Maschari

10. Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld

I also got around to reading some "older" novels with pub. dates that are before 2016.  Here are a few of my favorites:

1.  Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid

2.  The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarity

3.  Scarlet by Marissa Meyer

4.  A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

5.  Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon

So, what are some of your favorite books that you read this year...so far? Let me know in the comments below. This meme is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.

  1. I didn't get the chance to finish my Top Ten post but A Court of Mist and Fury and Salt to the Sea definitely made my list as did The Unexpected Everything. Glad you loved them too! I haven't read America's First Daughter yet though I hope to since I plan to visit Monticello this fall. Belgravia is on my TBR list too.

Nice list Christina! Can't believe how fast this year is going. Before we know it fall will be here with the next big wave of books like Marissa Meyer's Heartless. I'm also excited about a couple of summer releases like Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

    1. I'm glad you agree! I hope you do get to read America's First Daughter. I've read some mixed reviews, but I really enjoyed it. I have never bene to Monticello, but this book would be the perfect companion. I can't believe how quickly the year is going by as well. Summer needs to slow down! :) Thanks for visiting, Christina!

  4. I've only read A Court of Thorns and Roses Christina! How sad is that! I need to read A Court of Mist and Fury for sure, and I've heard great things about The Unexpected Everything. My mother in law reviewed it for me and she loved it too:)

  6. Great list! I just finished ACOMAF and Maybe in Another Life last week - I don't think I've had another reading week so spectacular! I totally fell for both. Salt to the Sea was amazing too, I loved reading the seamless connections between the different perspectives. Now I just need to start the Lunar Chronicles!
