Coming up this week on the blog, I am sharing my thoughts on The Wedding Shop by Rachel Hauck. Hauck is known as a Christian Fiction author, so I wasn't sure if the Christian themes were going to be too much for me, but they weren't. I ended up really enjoying the novel. I also will be sharing my thoughts on the first Nora Roberts book I ever read! I am trying to hit up some of the books that have been collecting dust on my shelves for years. Plus, there's going to be a great giveaway coming up for Stalking Jack the Ripper, which seems like the perfect read for October!
Hungry Heart by Jennifer Weiner - Thanks to Atria Books
Two By Two by Nicholas Sparks - Thanks to Grand Central Publishing and NetGalley
The Amateurs by Sara Shepard - Thanks to Sara Shepard and Disney-Hyperion
The Girl in the Picture by Alexandra Monir - Thanks to Delacorte
Congrats to the following winners! I hope you enjoy your books.
Summer Kickoff International Giveaway - Emma M.
Tell Me Something Real and Losing Gabriel - Judith R.
ARC of Leave Me by Gayle Forman - Jessy W.
Have you read any of these books or are they on your TBR list? Let me know your thoughts! Thanks for visiting!
Oh, I'm looking forward to reading your thoughts on the first Nora Roberts you've recently read, Christina. I feel like we're kind of in the same boat in it that we're newbies to her books. I hope you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I can see why she is so popular! It was definitely a charming read. Thanks for visiting, Joy!
DeleteI read The Wedding Shop as well as the companion novel The Wedding Dress and liked both. I want to read Two by Two. It sounds like something different from his usual books. I look forward to your thoughts on it.
ReplyDeleteStalking Jack the Ripper sounds really good. I think I'll be giving that a try when we get it at the library.
Hope you have a fantastic week!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you agree. I love a spooky read right around Halloween. Thanks for visiting, Greg!
DeleteI like the look of some of your new arrivals and new reads. I've never read a Christian author - not sure I could manage it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deborah. I am not big on Christian Fiction either, but this one worked for me. The few references there were to Christianity weren't annoying at all and weren't in your face. Thanks for visiting!
