Top Ten Tuesday: Books I've Added To My TBR List

I'm always on the hunt for my next favorite read. This Top Ten Tuesday post focuses on the latest books that we've added to our TBR list.

1.  Empress of a Thousand Skies by Rhoda Belleza - This one sounds like a promising sci-fi
2.  City of Saints & Thieves by Natalie C. Anderson - A mystery set in Kenya
3.  The Hollywood Daughter by Kate Alcott - About Ingrid Bergman? Sign me up!
4.  The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons - As a fan of historical fiction, I probably should have read this one by now. I am intrigued by the WWII Russian setting.
5.  A Million Junes by Emily Henry - Romeo and Juliet meets One Hundred Years of Solitude
6.  Black Rose by Bree Barton - Graceling meets Pride and Prejudice...sounds brilliant to me! (Cover to come!)
7.  Roar by Cora Carmack - Carmack and magic? I'm intrigued.
8.  Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller - Pirates...need I say more?
9.  Be True to Me by Adele Griffin - 1970s summer at Fire Island...my kind of beach read!
10.  The Suffering Tree by Elle Cosimano - Sounds like an interesting thriller/paranormal!

What are some of most recent books you've added to your TBR pile?  Let me know in the comments below. This meme is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.

  1. Wow, these are all new to me! It is interesting that Cora Carmack is branching out from new adult to fantasy fiction. Maybe it will be similar to A Court of Thorns and Roses. One can only hope :)

  3. Great picks!! I'm excited for Roar, Suffering Tree, Empress, and definitely Daughter of the Pirate King! I'm curious about A Million Junes, though I didn't really enjoy her first book so I'm hesitant to pick this one up! Maybe, though! :)
