I See London, I See France by Sarah Mlynowski
Pub. Date: July 11, 2017
Goodreads says, "Nineteen-year-old Sydney has the perfect summer mapped out. She’s spending the next four and half weeks travelling through Europe with her childhood best friend Leela. Their plans include Eiffel-Tower-Selfies, eating cocco gelato, and making out with très hot strangers. Her plans do not include Leela’s cheating ex-boyfriend showing up on the flight to London, falling for the cheating ex-boyfriend’s très-hot friend, monitoring her mother’s spiraling mental health via texts, or feeling like the rope in a friendship tug of war. In this hilarious and unforgettable adventure, New York Times bestselling author Sarah Mlynowski tells the story of a girl learning to navigate secret romances, thorny relationships, and the London Tube. As Sydney zigzags through Amsterdam, Switzerland, Italy and France, she must learn when to hold on, when to keep moving, and when to jump into the Riviera….wearing only her polka dot underpants."I know this one's publication date is far off, but how fun does it sound? I think it has the makings of an awesome beach read. I have never read Mlynowski before, but I know she has a loyal following. What do you guys think?
I love books that let you armchair travel and I'd love to visit London and France so that appeals to me. Unfortunately the title reminds me of that children's playground rhyme about underpants :)

DeleteI LOVE Sarah Mlynowski! I'd definitely recommend picking up some of her past books. She wrote for Red Dress Ink back in the day which are all very fun. As far as YA, I'd recommend Gimme a Call, especially. Great pick!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thanks for the recommendations, Natalie. I have always wanted to read her novels! Thanks for visiting!
DeleteOMG what a cute cover! And title! Everything about this book is so adorable. I'm not much of a YA contemporary fan, but this type of contemporary appeals to me. I hope you this book when you get a chance to read it!
