Friday Five and Giveaway (40)

Happy Friday! Sometimes I like to talk about what I am currently into that is not necessarily book related. Here's what I have been up to/thinking about/enjoying lately.

1.  Jackie - I have a thing for the Kennedys and love learning more about this captivating family. I finally saw Jackie with Natalie Portman and I thought it was just ok.  I mean talk about depressing, but I sort of knew that it would be going into it since it focuses on her life right after JFK's assassination.  Although Portman's acting was pretty great, I actually like Katie Holmes' interpretation of Jackie a bit more in her The Kennedy: After Camelot.  Did any of you guys see the movie?

2.  Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han - It came out earlier this week! I am so excited to continue with this series and as you know Jenny Han is one of my favorite authors.  I pre-ordered the book and can't wait to get my hands on a copy.

3.  The White Princess - Anyone watching this show on Starz? I am loving this adaptation of Gregory's novel and so far I think it is well done.

4.  Lilacs - I have always wanted to plant a lilac bush and never got around to it. I finally planted one in the front of my house and I am LOVING it. The smell and flowers all scream summertime. I think it's my new favorite scent.

5.  YA Giveaway - I have a copy of Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen to give away today. Summer is the perfect time to Read a Dessen and this book will tug on your heartstrings.
