Friday Five and a Giveaway (42)

Happy Friday! Sometimes I like to talk about what I am currently into that is not necessarily book related. Here's what I have been up to/thinking about/enjoying lately. 

1.  Before I Fall - I read this YA book years ago and really enjoyed it. I was nervous to watch the big screen adaptation for it, but was pleasantly surprised. I think it offered way more to think about than the usual teen movie. Have you guys seen the movie or read the book?

2.  Outlander - They released the season three trailer not too long ago. Did you guys see it? What do you think? Voyager, book three in the series), is one of my favorites (so far), so I am excited to see how it translates to the screen.  

3.  My Son's Birthday - We have been celebrating my son's birthday the past few days; I can't believe he is five years old. The time has just flown by.  He requested a boardwalk themed birthday with ferris wheel and beachy decorations. The beach bum in me was so excited! His family party was last night and it was a blast.

4.  Game of Thrones -  I am so happy it's back on. What have you guys thought so far? I thought the season premiere was outstanding. Confession time. For some strange reason, I am secretly rooting for Cersei.  I think she is such a compelling, yet entirely despicable character, which makes her super entertaining. 

5.  Giveaway for All Things New by Lauren Miller - Thanks to Three Saints Press, I have an extra ARC of this book, which comes out August 1st.
