Book Review: The Sandcastle Empire by Kayla Olson
I'll be sharing my thoughts on Philippa Gregory's latest novel, The Last Tudor. While this one wasn't my favorite of her novels, I still appreciated the Grey sisters' stories and like all good historical fiction, The Last Tudor inspired me to learn more about the two Grey sisters that I didn't know much about as I was already familiar with the Lady Jane, the Nine Days Queen. Talk about drama!
The winner of the ARC of In 27 Days goes to......

I've always been curious about Gregory's work, but have never read anything by her. I get intimidated by large historical fiction...for some reason. Hope you have a fantastic week!
ReplyDeleteI hear you. You should definitely read her Cousins' War series about the War of the Roses...fascinating stuff! Thanks for visiting, Natalie!
DeleteCongrats to the winner! I've never read anything by Gregory - I tend to focus on WWII era historical fiction, but I should branch out. :)
