The Fiery Cross was also #1 on my list. The Outlander books are so long, three more made my list as well. I also had Gone With the Wind.
ReplyDeleteYes, for some reason only these Outlander books made my list on Goodreads....maybe b/c the other ones I listened to as audio books. They are so long, but worth it, right? Thanks for visiting, Angela!
DeleteOutlander books are obvious ones for the list! I'm reading Drums of Autumn now, and hope I finish it before Outlander Season 4 starts! Others on my list of long, but fabulous, books are: A Soldier of the Great War by Mark Helprin, The Invisible Bridge by Julie Orringer, Trinity by Leon Uris, The Tea Rose by Jennifer Donnelly, Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese, East of Eden and Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck, and Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry. Whew!
ReplyDeleteI hope you can finish Drums of Autumn before the show starts. I am so excited for season four! Awesome list! I really want to read The Tea Rose....love Jennifer Donnelly! Thanks for visiting!
DeleteI loved The Mists of Avalon. I can't tell you how many times I reread it. Nice choice there.
