Well, we made it to February. We are in the thick of winter here in Pennsylvania. We haven't had a very snowy winter (so far!), but it has been very cold. It's the perfect weather for curling up with a good book and a hot tea. What do you plan to read this month? Here are the books that are at the top of my TBR pile:
Adult Fiction:
1. That Churchill Woman by Stephanie Barron
It's being described as Victoria meets The Paris Wife. It's all about Churchill's mother whose life sounds utterly fascinating. I don't know much about her, so I am very curious.
2. Forget You Know Me by Jessica Strawser - I love a good thriller in the winter and this sounds like one that will have my glued to the pages. It's about a FaceTime phone call that captures a "shocking incident no one was supposed to see. "
3. Castle on the Rise by Kristy Cambron - You guys know I am a sucker for a good story set in Ireland. This one "weaves a story of legacy, conviction, and redemption against the backdrop of Dublin's storied streets, and the stretch of Ireland's stunning emerald shores."
YA Fiction:
I hope to read at least one of these:
4. Stolen Time by Danille Rollins - This YA novel involves time travel. There hasn't been much buzz about it, but I am curious. I haven't read a good YA sci-fi novel in quite sometime.
5. Dark of the West by Joanna Hathaway - This fantasy sounds promising and it's being pitched as Code Name Verity meets The Winner's Curse. I'm loving this cover!
6. Warrior of the Wild by Tricia Levenseller - How can I resist the Vikings vibe to this book?
Have you read any of these books? Are they on your TBR list? What books do you plan to read this month?
I haven't read any of these, but they look good! That Churchill Woman sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteYes! I don't much much about Churchill's mother, so I am really intrigued. Thanks for visiting, Angela.
