I had a blast this year sharing my favorite beach reads for 2019 with you guys. I can't believe it's my 8th year of the Summer Kickoff Feature. I hope you got some good ideas as to what bring along on vacation this summer or which book to take with you to the pool. I didn't read nearly as many as I was hoping, so you know what that means? I hope to read a few over the winter and daydream about the warm sunshine on my face.
As a thank you for following along this summer, I am giving away one of the beach reads I featured here during my Summer Kickoff. This giveaway is open internationally, but please make sure that Book Depository can ship to your location. Also, please refer to my giveaway rules. More importantly, thank you to all my blog readers for all the comments and recommendations this past summer. I truly appreciate it!

What was your favorite book of the summer? Which one would you love to win? Let me know in the comments.
You had so many good books this summer! The Unhoneymooners was definitely one of my favorites. Wishing you more happy reading this fall!
ReplyDeleteI agree. It was such a fun and memorable book. Thanks, Michele! You too!
DeleteI would really like to get the Dessen book. Just haven't picked it up yet. My daughter and I love reading her. Started by listening to her books while driving to Myrtle Beach.
ReplyDeleteListening to Sarah Dessen while driving to Myrtle Beach sounds like perfection! I really liked her last book. I hope you get to read it soon. Thanks for visiting!
DeleteI would love to win a copy of Drawing Home by Jamie Brenner. I enjoyed her previous work so would love to read this one.
ReplyDeleteI always look forward to your Beach Reads every year, Christina. It's the only way I can find books to read for the Summer. Lol.
Yes, you can't go wrong with a new Jamie Brenner novel. I have enjoyed most of her books as well. Aww. Thanks, Joy! I appreciate the kind thoughts!
DeleteYou've read so many amazing books and so many that I would love to get me hands on too!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jenea, and thanks for entering!
DeleteI think The Unhoneymooners was my favorite book of the summer, and I'd love to read Meet Me in Monaco!
ReplyDeleteMe too. Wasn't it so much fun? I can't wait to read their next novel. Meet Me in Monaco was also very enjoyable. I hope you can read it soon! Thanks for visiting!
DeleteI get most of my books from charity shops, so they tend not to be recent publications. My favourite so far has been The Lewis Man, a thriller set in the Hebrides. I would love to win Tidelands by Philippa Gregory as I've enjoyed her other books.
ReplyDeleteTidelands was great! I hope you get to read it soon. Thanks for visiting!
DeleteI loved Finale it was amazing to read, and I got a signed copy too! I'd love to win a good historical romance, but haven't checked out whats coming yet!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to read Tidelands by Philippa Gregory. The book i enjoyed this summer was Once Upon A River by Diane Setterfield, an unusual and poignant book with a mystery involving a child who is found dead in the river but comes back to life.
ReplyDeleteI have just been reading older books this summer - my favourite so far was a Thousand Splendid Suns, would love to read When we left Cuba
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Us by David Nicholls. If I was lucky enough to win I would choose The Rest of the Story.
ReplyDeleteNot read any recent published one (trying new authors out) so The Coffin Path has to be my favourite. A good old-fashioned ghost story.
ReplyDeleteWould love to win Summer of 69 please.
Love to win Golden Hour. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteIt was Winter in my country, but I'm already preparing myself and everything for the Summer, including my TBR! And one book that I'm dying to read is The Unhoneymooners, by Christina Lauren. It's everywhere, and people are loving it!
