I think we are all ready for some warmer weather and better days. I'm remaining hopeful that we will see more sunshine in April and with more sunshine comes outdoor reading! I am not sure how much I'll read this month (blame the coronavirus), but here are the books I have my eyes on:
1. To Have and to Hoax by Martha Waters - This book is being described as a historical rom-com. I feel like that is very much needed right now.
2. Feels Like Falling by Kristy Woodson Harvey - I am so ready for all the beach reads! I really loved her Peachtree Bluff series, so I have high hopes for this one.
3. The Star-Crossed Sisters of Tuscany by Lori Nelson Spielman - A little Tuscany dreaming is necessary, right?
4. The Sweeney Sisters by Lian Dolan - It's being described as a "hilarious , heartfelt story about books, love, sisterhood, and the surprises we discover in our DNA."
5. The Book of Longings by Sue Monk Kidd - Sue Monk Kidd is a fantastic historical writer and I can't wait to read this one, which I hear is a woman-centered version of the New Testament. It should be interesting!
6. The Summer Villa by Melissa Hill - I am part of this blog tour later this month and this book sounds the perfect book to kick off beach read season. Don't you want to be transported to that gorgeous cover? *sigh*
What do you hope to read this month? Let me know in the comments.
These all look like great reads!
