Happy September! Somehow it is already September....I can't quite believe it! Normally I want summer to slow down, but I am ready for this dumpster fire of a year to be over. Meanwhile, I am going to try to enjoy the last few weeks of summer before they slip away.
1. A Whale of the Wild by Rosanne Parry
My son and I love to read novels together and this one seems perfect for us. We are both beach bums at heart and love all sea life.
2. Majesty (American Royals #2) by Katharine McGee
The first book in this series was so much fun! I am looking forward to continuing!
3. Chance of a Lifetime by Jude Deveraux and Tara Sheets
I have never read Deveraux before, but I know many people are a fan. This book is the start to a promising new series with some time travel elements.
I am reading beach reads till the end of the month, so here are the last few beach reads that I hope to cram in before fall is upon us and I am dreaming of all things pumpkin and a roaring fire.
Just a Boy and a Girl in a Little Canoe by Sarah Mlynowski
The Second Home by Christina Clancy
The House on Fripp Island by Rebecca Kauffman
500 Miles From You by Jenny Colgan
The Friendship List by Susan Mallery
Other Historical Novels That I Didn't Get To:
Jackie and Marie by Gill Paul
Red Sky Over Hawaii by Sara Ackerman
The Woman Before Wallis by Bryn Turnbull
The Lions of Fifth Avenue by Fiona Davis
Are any of the books on your TBR list? What do you hope to read this month? Which beach read should I squeeze in before the summer comes to a close? Let me know what you think in the comments below.
I loved The Lions of Fifth Avenue! There are so many up there I want to read, especially Majesty and Jackie and Maria!
