The past few years have been very challenging for everyone, including children. Oftentimes we think of children as being very resilient, but change is hard for all age groups; plus, sometimes you just have a bad day. I love when picture books lend themselves to discussions of bigger issues like dealing with change, the importance of friendship, and having a positive mindset. That's the big message in a new picture book called Alycat and the Cattywampus Wednesday by Alysson Foti Bourque.
