Happy New Year! 2023 promises to have some great books and I am excited to dig right in this month. One of my bookish goals for the year is to read one "older" book that has been collecting dust on my bookshelf each month. Will that happen? I am not sure, but I think it's a reasonable goal. Who is with me? *Fingers crossed*
1. Do I Know You? by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka
I am part of the the blog tour for this romance and am excited to check it out. I never got to read their first book, The Roughest Draft, but I have heard good things.
2. The Rose and the Thistle by Laura Franz
I am also part of the blog tour for this historical read. I love the cover and the setting of Scotland along with the Jacobite Rebellion.
3. A Love by Design by Elizabeth Everett
I have never read the other novels in The Secret Scientists of the London series, but I love the premise of this one and the Regency time period. I am part of the blog tour for this book and am excited to dive in.
4. Loathe to Love You by Ali Hazelwood
Hazelwood never disappoints and I am excited to check out her novellas. Have you read them?
5. Code Name Sapphire by Pam Jenoff
I have enjoyed Jenoff's novels in the past and I really like the setting of WWII.
6. Varina Palladino's Jersey Italian Love Story by Terri-Lynne DeFino
This sounds hilarious--Moonstruck meets My Big Fat Greek Wedding!
7. The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom
This is the backlist title that I am hoping to dust off and read this month. Some people refer to this novel as a contemporary classic! Have you read it?
So, what books do you hope to read this month? Let me know in the comments below.
