May! It's here! I am buzzing with excitement. I adore May. You have the summer months ahead of you, the weather has just started warming up, and so many of the beach reads we have been waiting for have started to come out. Here are the books on my radar this month.
10 Books to Read This Month:
1. This Summer Will Be Different by Carley Fortune

Carley Fortune can do no wrong! Her beach reads have become some of my favorites. I am about half way through this one and really enjoying it! Plus, it takes place on Prince Edward Island!
2. Summers at the Saint by Mary Kay Andrews

Mary Kay Andrews always combines a beach read with some type of mystery. It's always a fun approach and this book seems like a good escape.
3. The Paradise Problem by Christina Lauren
Pub. Date: May 14, 2024
You had me at Christina Lauren! But look at that cover!?! If that doesn't scream read me on vacation, I am not sure what does. There's a fake relationship, a family wedding, a tropical island....I'm sold!
4. The Heirloom by Jessie Rosen
Pub. Date: May 7, 2024
I adore this cover! This book involves a marriage proposal, an heirloom ring, and a trip to Italy and Portugal.
5. Every Time We Say Goodbye by Natalie Jenner

I loved The Jane Austen Society, so I have high hopes for this historical novel that takes place in 1950s Rome.
6. A Wedding in Lake Como by Jennifer Probst

Isn't this cover dreamy? A destination wedding at Lake Como brings together three friends and a lot of secrets are revealed!
7. One Perfect Couple by Ruth Ware

I love a good beachy thriller! Five couples are trapped on an island due to a storm and there's a killer amongst them! Cue all the drama and suspense!
8. Summer Fridays by Suzanne Rindell
Pub. Date: May 28, 2024
First of all, how adorable is this cover? It's been pitched as You've Got Mail for the new generation. Sounds like a winner to me!
9. Seven Summers by Paige Toon

I hear this beachy romance will give readers all the feels!
10. The Goddess of Warsaw by Lisa Barr
Pub. Date: May 21, 2024
I have actually never read any of Barr's historical novels, but they are always recommended to me. I am looking forward to this one that features a Jewish WWII assassin turned Hollywood star.
