Best Books of Summer 2024

I feel like I just wrote my beach read roundup for the summer and here we are with the wrap-up. Can you believe it? This summer flew by! I hope everyone enjoyed it with a good book, a cool beverage, an ocean view or poolside. I've read so many great books this summer; here are some of my favorites.

Husbands & Lovers by Beatriz Williams

Sandwich by Catherine Newman

The Days I Loved You Most by Amy Neff

Summer Romance by Annabel Monaghan

This Summer Will Be Different by Carley Fortune

Long Island by Colm Toibin

The God of the Woods by Liz Moore

All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker (Review to come)

It was hard to narrow it down. Abby Jimenez's Just for the Summer, Elin Hilderbrand's Swan Song, The House on Biscayne Bay by Chanel Cleeton, and Funny Story by Emily Henry almost made the cut. So what books did you love this summer? Let me know in the comments below.

  1. Heir, Apparently by Kara McDowell was probably my favorite! I'm currently reading Husbands & Lovers, so fingers crossed for another hit!

  3. I read some really good ones this summer, but top of the list includes:
    Funny Story by Emily Henry
The Hedgewitch of Fox Hall by Anna Bright
    Earls Trip by Jenny Holiday
The Perils of Lady Catherine de Bourgh by Claudia Gray
A Governess's Guide to Passion and Peril by Manda Collins
Murder in Highbury by Vanessa Kelly

I sense a theme, now that I look at them all listed, lol... I also enjoyed Swan Song and the Paradise Problem. And Summer Romance. So many good reads happened this summer! Makes me excited to see what Fall has in store!
