November is here! Kind of hard to believe. I have started reading some holiday books already and I have to admit, it's the just what I needed. The news and the world has been stressful lately and a nice cozy read is a good change in between all the thrillers and spooky reads. Here's the books I have my eye on this month.
1. The Maui Effect by Sara Ackerman
Pub. Date: 11/19/24
A love story involving surfing and Hawaii - sign me up!
2. Christmas with the Queen by Hazel Gaynor and Heather Webb
Pub. Date: 11/19/24
I love these two authors! This holiday novel is The Crown meets When Harry Met Sally meets Bridget Jones's Diary. Sounds like a perfect mashup!
3. The Author's Guide to Murder by Beatriz Williams, Lauren Willig, and Karen White
Pub. Date: 11/5/24
I'll read anything Team W writes. This one is being described as Agatha Christie meets Murder She Wrote
.
4. City of Night Birds by Juhea Kim
Pub. Date: 11/26/24
This novel features the Russian ballet and cut-throat ambition.
5. The Dagger and the Flame by Catherine Doyle
Pub. Date: 9/3/24
This YA romantasy is getting a lot of buzz and was a BOTM pick in September. I hear it's perfect for fans of Sarah J. Maas.
6. The Lake of Lost Girls by Katherine Greene
Pub. Date: 11/5/24
A haunting novel about a missing student and her sister - it involves podcast clips!
7. Is She Really Going Out with Him? by Sophie Cousens
Pub. Date: 11/19/24
A love story about a divorced woman who lets her children play matchmaker.
8. A Queen's Game by Katharine McGee
Pub. Date: 11/12/24
This YA historical romance is inspired by true events.
9. The Estate by Sarah Jost
Pub. Date: 11/19/24
A suspenseful novel about a woman who has the ability to enter the dimension of art and she finds herself trapped in a French estate.
10. The Courting of Bristol Keats by Mary E. Pearson
Pub. Date: 11/12/24
A thrilling romantic fantasy and he first in a duology.
And of course, I will be reading all the holiday books I shared from last month; plus, some new additions. I'll be sharing holiday books soon, but for now, let me know what books are on your November TBR list in the comments below.
I'm pretty obsessed with this TBR - I have so many on my own! A Queen's Game is new to me, so definitely adding that. Author's Guide and Christmas With the Queen are two of my most anticipated of the year!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic list! You just added way too many books to my tbr! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great list, and so many are on my TBR as well! I'm on the holds list at the Library for Team W's latest, and am not-so-patiently waiting for Christmas with the Queen to show up for holds, lol ... I snagged Courting of Bristol Keats from BOTM, and am now quite intrigued by The Estate - must look into that one further!
ReplyDeleteHuzzah for good books just in time for hibernation season :)
